Description of the property

John McSweeney House was built in 1853 of brick. The house is an alteration, and not part of the original construction. The oriel window and the rock-faced stone trim around the first Louvered shutters flank the windows, and the windows are silled and linteled. The house has gable ends with one, small round It is one and one-half stories, and constructed of brick. The exterior of the house is in generally good condition, but the brick has been painted at some point, again detracting from the house's appearance.
