Description of the property

The East Side Commercial Block consists of three buildings, facing Main St., between Front and 1st Streets. This area was once the heart of East Toledo, but today few The Weber Block, at the corner of Front & Main, is a large, painted brick, three-story building, built in the commercial adaptation of the Queen Ann style. The ground of both floors is recessed. There is a balcony effect, framed by a large, round structure, but lacks the elaborate cornice. building, also modernized on the lst floor. Windows on the second floor are plain, centrally placed, triangular pediments on each face. A molded metal band extends Between the Webers and Friedman blocks is a 3-story, 2-sby wide, stone store built and there is a stone corbeling at the cornice level.
