Description of the property

This structure is stucco covered brick, and rectangular in plan. It represents the Greek Revival style, with a typical 3 bay Iength and width of the building, following the pitch of the eaves. CHECK ONE western facade of the house.In the frieze of this facade are carved obscure letters and a studio below,at the rear of the structure facing the Maumee River. A one story porch addition covers the front entrance. which read "Isaac Hull's Store".Massive walnut beams and boards are used throughout -GOOD facade.

It has remained a residence since shortly after the turn of the century.
It is also important as an example of the small,3-bay Greek Revival Cottage store on a bluff overlooking the Maumee River and the Miami and Erie Canal in the for building the first courthouse, jailyand bridge in Maumee.
