Further Description of Important Features This large house was originally built to face Washington Avenue on the corner, but subsequently, the land on Washington Avenue was sold and modern apartments built. The interior dates from a later period, about 1890, and features much fine woodwork, several elaborate fireplaces, and stained and leaded glass windows.
