Further Description of Important Features Built in the NeoClassical Roman Temple format, this building is an excellent is finely appointed, with a very tall ceiling, and classical pilasters. 43. History and Significance This building was built in 1917 for Savings Deposit and Trust Company. Later, the name of the bank was of the city's finest and least altered bank building. 44. Description of Environment and Outbuildings Only the front facade is visible, the side walls are party walls, and the rear is plainly finished. It is in line with other,puildings on Broad Street, but stands out because of its ornamentation. The nominated property lies in Block 82, lot 90 of the original plat for the town of tlyria. 45.
