Further Description of Important Features This two story structure has had some terations and additions over the years. The first floor of the ront part of the building has large plate glass windows which were robably added later. A one story wing on the south side is a later ddition. The interior has undergone some remodeling. The upper part f the building features rectangular windows and an entablature. + 38. Less than one acre. 3. History and Significance In 1870, this structure was the home of Bartlett and Doble Dry Goods tore.---Originally, the structure projected further out toward the intersection, but half the Building was detached and moved east of town where it serves as a residence. This is one of hesterville's best preserved Greek Revival commercial buildings. 4.

Description of Environment and Outbuildings .ocated at a corner of the main intersection at Chesterville, this house occupies a small lot nd is near other commercial structures. Of the resources, the commercial bldgs. is a little weak but I'm convinced of that these are town's eligible resources. A good collection of mostly Vk-Revival structures.
