Further Description of Important Features This two story Greek Revival structure features an elaborate central entrance enframed by pilasters and an entablature. To the left, a storefront with large plate glass windows has been inserted. Shutters are in place on the remaining window openings which have had replacement sash. To the rear, the building roof slopes down to form a saltbox shape. A long low one story wing extends beyond. 43. History and Significance For many years Harvey Bell owned this building and used it as a residence. It is not known who its original owner was. This building is significant for its rare saltbox shape and early date of construction. 44. Description of Environment and Outbuildings Located near the center of the downtown, this building lies on a small lot on Fredericktown's Main Street.
