Historical significance (include 'explanation of themes checked above) The Elias Crawford House is a two-storey frame house of octagonal pian, with a service wing on its south and west sides.
Extending around the building's first storey is an open porch supported by chamfered wooden posts with brackets. The house's fenestration is irregular. The building is enclosed by a hipped roof with open eaves and pendant brackets. Alterations to the house include double front doors and some stained glass (ca.1890). Immedtately southwest of the house is a nineteenth-century stable, perhaps original. Built prior to 1860, the Elias Crawford Octagonal House is one of only two octagonal houses in Worcester. Although the house is shown on an uridated map of Worcester (identified as 1000), no owner's name 1s house as belonging tc ctures around 1woo19t seensecturetr Imown.
