Further Description of Important Features The wall treatment is of gray Indiana limestone over a base of polished granite. Piers and spandrels are on the same plane and linked at the top by arches. Doorways are arched. Bracketed cornice of moderate projection. 3. Significant for its outstanding Chicago style commercial architecture, plus original bank room featuring Renaissance details, stained glass. 43. History and Significance The Lima Trust Co. was incorporated in 1903 with offices in the Masonic building. From 1906 to 1926 the offices were in the (old) Ashton block. In 1926 the company moved into this newly constructed building. In 1974 The First National Bank and Trust Co. changed to the Huntington National Bank. In 1944 the National Building Corp. purchased the building. Presently owned by the Crosley Building Corporation. 44.
