It is a typical North Cambridge workers cottage, single-story frame house on a high basement, executed in a transitional Greek Revival-Bracketed Italianate style. It is con- sidered the best example in Northwest Cambridge of an original workers cottage, the only one to have original siding and shutters. It is an important example of this housing type, which may be unique in North Cambridge and the only one in unchanged condition. 10.
