Later, the Hall was used by social and fraternal organizations to hold both public and private functions.
Through the years, the building has seen such diverse uses as light manufacturing, taverns, a cinema and roller skating, but still reflects its basic of functions. It remains "without a doubt the most conspicuous (building) in City Square.
