The Purdum home was Greek Revival/Italianate (Explain less than Site Evans, Nelson W. Boney fiddle MRA, Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio features that include the round-arched window sash, brackets in the cornice, and the large two-story drum bay on the west elevation.
