Luke House is an exceptional example oi the rustic Craftsman style. It1s a large rambling 2 and 1/2 story stungled house enclosed by a hip root with three cross gables across the facade. Two field stone chimneys, one on the facade and one on the left elevation, add to the rustic effect of the house. A particularly nice feature is the verandah which extends from the entry to the right side where it becomes a long pergola type arbor. Other elegant leatures include leaded glass sidelighte and windows atthe tret story. Upper story windows appear in groups of 0:99.
