In the town of Plymouth, a mobile home was destroyed, a garage roof was torn off, and power lines came down. In the towns of Otselic, North Norwich, and New Berlin trees and wires were downed. Over 2,000 people in Chenango and Otsego Counties lost power.
A microburst occurred in South Otselic on the evening of July 15th. Estimated peak wind was 80 mph. The majority of damage was tree damage. There was also a report of a roof blown off of a building.
Wind damage occurred to 10 buildings, with one roof blown off. The damage occurred along Route 26 and the intersection of County Route 13 in South Otselic.
