Chapter Viii

While Gen. Harrison was at Camp Seneca, he narrowly escaped being murdered by an Indian. It appears that the friendly Indians of the Delaware, Shawanese, and Seneca tribes had been invited to join him. A number had accepted the invitation, and had reached Seneca before the arrival of the Kentucky troops.
