June 2006	Thunderstorm Wind	Fryburg	$425,000	A line of severe thunderstorms moved across northeastern Holmes County during the early morning hours of June 22nd. Several hundred trees and many utility poles were toppled in Berlin, Paint and Salt Creek Townships. Three buildings at a factory on Township Road 654 west of Winesburg were heavily damaged. A home inside of Winesburg was damaged and a barn and garage were flattened near Fryburg. Several homes and buildings in the Berlin area also sustained some damage.
July 2005	Thunderstorm Wind	Fryburg	$10,000	Thunderstorm winds were estimated between 70 and 75 mph by a trained spotter. There were also reports of downed trees, large limbs and power lines across the area as the severe thunderstorms moved through the county.
