Education the building which housed generations of Mayfield students was re- Occupants of this building, the original school for the Mayfield to restore the old school and use it as administrative offices.All School seem quite empty until the boom of World War II when it again RECEIVED 1907 and until after W.W.I graduating classes numbered less than 10. This buildingis significant locally asa good example of preservation 16th Century of the woodwork in the halls and windows as well as the exterior of the was filled to capacity with as many as 200 children in its 4 rooms. The opening of a new high school made the rooms of the Old Center century small school building.
The doors were closed in 1954 and from then until 1971 the building On May 28,1906,the Board of the Mayfie1d Center School District SPECIFIC DATE(S) (If Applicable and Known) there.
