“The William Havens House is a historic house at 915 East 1st Street in Webster, South Dakota. It is a two-story brick structure, built in 1890 by William Havens, one of the area's first settlers, and was considered the most elegant house in the town at the time of its construction.”

July 2008	Thunderstorm Wind	Webster	10 hurt	The lumber yard and cabinet shop in Webster were destroyed. Power lines and poles were downed along with hundreds of trees. A semi was overturned on Highway 12 west of Webster injuring the driver. Several other injuries occurred in Day County as a result of the windstorm. The injuries were minor to moderate with scrapes and abrasions to lower back injuries and a broken collar bone.
July 2020	Thunderstorm Wind	Webster	-	Estimated seventy mph winds downed several trees in Webster.
September 2019	Tornado (EF0)	Webster	-	A witness observed a tornado touch down over a lake and then track onto a pasture before lifting. No damage occurred.
