DR. P. B. YOUNG, Crestline; was born in Columbiana Co., Ohio, in 1832. Went to Beaver Co., Penn., in 1849, attending the Beaver Academy, taking a fu.ll course of studies. After deciding to make the medical profession his calling, he attended the Jefferson Medical College, at Philadelphia, Penn., gradu.ating in 1860. His first location was at Freedom, Beaver Co., Penn., remaining there for two years, when he entered the army as assistant surgeon. He was promoted to surgeon in 1863, and remained in that important position all through the war. At its close, he came to Crestline, in 1865, and has since been in active practice there. Dr. Y''oung has been surgeon for the P., F. W. & C. R. R. since 1874, and is now examining surgeon for pensions. He was married in 1862, to Sarah M. Gormly. They have one child - Howard.
