The modern record here

3 settlements

What the federal record holds for each settlement inside this township: wildfires and storm reports since the 1950s, mineral workings, and museum specimens collected nearby. These are counted within a few miles of each settlement, so neighbours share them and the columns are deliberately not added up. Every row links to the settlement's own page, where each figure is broken out.

The parts of Ribbons, etc., here presented, together with many other designs which are always in stock, but which are not engraved, admit of many combinations, adapting them to very general use.

Enrichments For Mouldings

In construction, we recommend forming the iron moulding to such a profile as will allow the Enrichment a true and even bed. Trim the Enrichment close, and attach by solder only. By continuing the sheet-iron moulding under the Enrichment, a neater, stronger and better job is made. It will be found quite as cheap as the old plan of joining the Iron to the zinc Enrichment at each side, while the difficulties arising from contraction and expansion will be in the main removed.

Our Enrichments are struck in three to seven foot lengths, according to the nature of the design. They are so calculated as to allow matching with the least possible waste.

Sheet-Metal Sign Letters

The smaller Letters are made from Sheet Zinc, while the larger sizes are made of Galvanized Iron. Special designs made to order. Other sizes at proportionate prices.

Pressed-Zinc Crestings

One of the neatest styles of finish for the top of a house or porch is Pressed-Zinc Crestings. They are fastened securely in position by a tube soldered into the back of the perpendicular parts, and which slip over a rod screwed to the roof.

A tube, made of zinc, galvanized iron or tin, from ^ to ^ inch diameter, according to size, is to be firmlv soldered in the back of the cresting at intervals, according to pattern and height. The tubes should run nearly to the top of each spear-head or elevated portion of the cresting, and extend down to roof line, being continued below the bottom of the cresting according to the height it is to be set above the roof. A wrought-iron rod, in diameter corresponding to the size of the tube, with three to five inches of one end bent and flattened to form a foot, is to pass up each tube. The rod should be long enough to reach to the top of the tube. The flattened end should be provided with screw-holes for fastening to roof.

If it is desired to have the cresting finish at opposite corners with a similar figure or part of the design, find the center between the two corners and commence by laying the center of a section of cresting immediately over this point, and then join to it in each direction as may be required.

The Creating* and Cresting Blocks shown herewith aro entirely new and original in design and aro made of stamped crimped iron or line, being stamped in two plates, soldered or riveted together and shipped either separately as Cresting Blocks ready to be applied to the ordinary 2-incb ridgo roll or made up as Crcstmgs. as shown in example above. These designs of Crestings and Cresting Blocks aro intended to meet the requirements of tho Contractor, Builder and Roofer for a cheap ornamental ridge cresting, and will be found to be the cheapest and most artistic Cresting that his ever been offerod to the trade. In using these Cresting Blocks it is not necessary that they should be soldered to the ridge roll, but simply slipped over the end of tho roll belore placing it in p sition on tho roof, and after fpadug them as required nail through tho lower flanye to the rid«u pole, using a small slender wire nail for this purpose. In using them in this way the nail used in fastening tho Crcsiing Blocks also answers tho purpose of holding the ridge roll in position on the roof, and does not necessarily add any additional nail holes other than would be used in applying ridsing in the ordinary way.

All duck shooters, fishermen and others who use rowing boats for sporting or pleasure have had trouble with their wooden boats drying out when put away in storage over winter, or left exposed to the sun or weather when in use; and again, becoming heavy and water-logged when kept in service for any length of time; opening up th« seams and joints in one case, or too heavy for use in the other.

To remedy and overcome these defects, we have brought out our new Stamped and Embossed Sheet Metal Boats, and a trial or examination of them will at once convince the sportsman or boatman of their immense superiority over auy wooden boats made. The lowest cost boat we make, which is made of galvanized steel, is thoroughly well made and finished, and is a perfect and serviceable boat that will stand the hardest and most constant use for years, while the manganese bronze and aluminum boats are
