The tornado was generally moving to the southeast by the time it moved into the county. This tornado moved through open country with no known damage.
May 2005Tornado (F0)Bomarton-A brief tornado was reported 3 miles northwest of Bomarton. Data from the Doppler on Wheels research radars measured a wind velocity of 23 m/s at 22 m above ground level. The duration and path of the tornado beyond this point is unknown.

May 1994Thunderstorm WindBomarton-Thunderstorms in the western part of North Texas during the evening hours on the 24th produced damaging winds and hail up to golf ball-size. Thunderstorm winds blew a trailer across a road and downed tree limbs 15 miles west of Crowell, blew roofs off of houses and downed tree limbs 10 miles south of Crowell and near Truscott, downed signs in Wichita Falls, tore the roof off an out building on the south side of Electra and downed tree limbs 2.5 miles west-southwest of Dean.
