April 2023HailMuncy-Several reports were received, including a video on social media, of a swath of hail from approximately ten miles north of Floydada to three miles east of Floydada. The largest hail size reported was baseball size. No damage was reported.
July 2021Thunderstorm WindMuncy-A trained spotter reported a few utility poles were blown down in addition to a fence post being snapped. A field of grass and sunflowers were also bent in an east to northeast direction which was in line with storm motion. The time of damage was estimated from radar.

June 2010Flash FloodMuncy-The Floyd County Sheriff's Office reported that high water streamed across portions of Texas Highway 207 near the intersection of Farm to Market Road 97 south of South Plains. The inundated section of highway spanned one half mile in width.
