The tornado was a brief F0 spotted on the Red River 11 miles northwest of Goodlett in Hardeman County. (This is the same tornado reported in Oklahoma in Harmon County 15 miles south-southwest of Gould.) Severe thunderstorm winds in Wilbarger County downed six utility poles one miles south of Odell and felled large trees in Odell, one onto a house.
