March 2016Tornado (EF1)Voca-A National Weather Service Damage Assessment Team found evidence of an EF1 Tornado that formed about 3 miles east northeast of Katemcy in northern Mason County and lifted about 2 miles north northwest of Fredonia in McCulloch County. The tornado mainly damaged a grove of trees snapping many tree trunks about half way down. The tornado also destroyed an outbuilding. Winds were estimated between 95 to 110 mph.
June 2014Thunderstorm WindVoca-Strong thunderstorms winds estimated near 60 mph combined with large hail broke several of the northwest facing windows near the town of Voca. Exact hail size was unknown, but in concert with the wind, the hail must have been large to break glass.
