We received 14 reports of severe size hail, nine of which were two inches or larger. The teacup size hail was reported by the media and fell near the Austin Arboretum.

May 2015Tornado (EF0)Jonestown-A NWS storm survey found evidence of a weak EF-0 tornado that initially touched down near FM 1431 and produced damage at a school. The tornado traveled northeast and caused considerable tree damage in the Indian Hills subdivision before dissipating right near the Williamson County line. Other wind damage was observed near New Hope Dr., but could not conclusively be associated with this tornado path. Peak winds were estimated at 85 mph.
September 2010Flash FloodJonestown-Heavy rain from Tropical Storm Hermine produced flash flooding which closed Lime Creek Road south of Fisher Hollow near Cedar Park.
October 2006Flash FloodJonestown-Thunderstorms produced 2 to 3 inches of rain from Lago Vista westward to the Burnet County line. Highest amounts were 4 inches at Lago Vista. Law enforcement reported that FM2222 and FM1431were were closed due to flash flooding.
