Berlin, the town this property stands in, in 39 storm reports between 1994 and 2024: 16 hail, 14 thunderstorm wind, 4 tornado, 4 funnel cloud.

opens the federal record of that event.
A weak tornado spun up southeast of Berlin near the intersection of CTH AA and Forest Ridge Rd. The tornado moved northeast and disappated near the intersection of CTH V and White Ridge Rd. The average path width was 60 yards. A damage survey noted seven high tension wood power poles were snapped. A few trees were uprooted including one that fell on and damaged a car. There was minor roof damage to a barn. Several small barrels were thrown over 100 yards into a nearby field. A portable toilet was moved about 50 feet. Near the end of the track, a TV antenna was snapped and there was damage to the facia of a home. A small shed was destroyed and a couch that was outdoors was thrown about 75 feet. The Green Lake County Emergency Manager estimated property damage at $30,000. Additionally, it is estimated that the power-pole and line replacement cost was about $100,000.
County officials reported a tree fell through a house in Berlin. Power lines were reported down by the strong thunderstorm gusts, as well as minor crop damage.
The Fox River reached moderate flood stage, cresting at 15.18 feet the morning of September 12th. Riverside and Webster Parks are flooded in Berlin. Some homes along Webster St. are affected by floodwaters.
An EF0 tornado developed about 3.5 miles south-southeast of Berlin just south of the intersection of County Road F and County Road AA and traveled northeast about 1.8 miles before dissipating on Meadow Brook Road just east of County Trunk Highway V. The tornadic winds sucked lawn furniture from under a porch where it was being stored and threw it against a fence. Tree branches were snapped and a wooden structure received light damage along the path of the tornado. There was $300 dollars of damage done to an outdoor spa. The exact start location was Lat 43.91978 Lon -88.91302. The exact end locations was Lat 43.93922 Lon -88.88818. The EF-rating was based on DI 27 (TH), DOD 2 which suggests winds speeds around 80 mph. The average path width of the tornado was 30 yards.
The Green Lake County Emergency Manager reported many large tree branches down in the town of Berlin from thunderstorm wind gusts measured at 63 mph (55 knots).
