The cooling tower screen is a component of the Marshall Space Flight Center s Administrative Complex, which houses the center s administrative functions. Description: The cooling tower screen is located at the northwest corner of Building (see HABS No. AL-999-C). The x structure sits on a concrete base. The screen is comprised of 5 1/2"-thick precast pebble concrete panels alternating in height. The tall panels have sloped tops facing the inside of the structure while the 14' panels have sloped tops facing the exterior.
