Named in the 1879 county history

The history of Lorain County was published 25 years before the first of these atlases, and it names this establishment.

On September 17, 1874. Mr. Mosher married Laura Coleman. Her father, Christopher C. Coleman. lived at Seneca Falls. New York. was a harness maker by trade, and also owned a plantation in Virginia. from which he was driven when the Civil war broke out. Mr. and Mrs. Mosher are the parents of eight children: Alfred R., who graduated from Oberlin College in 1898 and lives on a plantation in Texas; William E., referred to on other pages; Clifford C., who was a soldier in the Spanish-American war and is now superintendent and manager of the East Machine Co. of Lima, Ohio; Bessie B., who is private secretary in a Wholesale chair company at Chicago; Margaret Eleanor, who graduated from Oberlin College in 1906 and is now the wife of Charles A.
