The history of Clinton County was published 8 years after the first of these atlases, and it names this establishment.

Summer amusements are centered in the Airdrome and the Pastime theater. The opera house, a township building, has a seating capacity of eight hundred and is a handsome addition to the town. It was built in 1894, at a cost of thirty thousand doHars, under the regime of John W. Moore, John P. Langdon and John J. Custis.
