WILLIAM E. KI13LET. CJoimty Treasm-er; was born in Sandusky Township, Richland Co., in lS;io. He attended the common schools of those times. In ISol. he came to Crali<in, and worked at the tinner's ti'ade for eiglit years. He then went to Mansfield, and clerk.'d in the post office nntil he secm-ed a situation as route agent from Crestline to Indiana[)olis, on the " Bee Line:" served in this cap;icity during ISoU and 1800. In 18(51, he went into the shoe business in Gallon, and fi-om that to the hardware business in 180~, remaining in that line until 1874, when he sold out and went into real estate. In ISOG, he laid a farm out in town lots; it is now called " William Riblefs .Addition to Gallon." ilr.
