There were issues on the following creeks: | Salt Creek (Overtopped at Highway 99 and Highway 36 location)| Antelope Creek (Private earthen berm failure at Rancho Ave))| Craig Creek (Overtopped near Craig Road and Rancho Ave)| Dye Creek (Over topped and earthen berm failure between Shasta blvd and 62nd Ave)|Highway 99 was closed from highway 36 to Aramayo Way for many hours (Wednesday evening through early Thursday morning) until the water receded and things could be cleaned up. There were 213 homes impacted from the flooding, with significant damage from water and mud. Many homes had several feet of water. Fields and orchards were also flooded.|Damage to homes, bridges, fencing, crops, and beehives totaled $2.5 million. Repairs and remediation to the berms totaled $4.25 million.

Snow plows were required to plow the hail off of I5.

This tornado touched down in a farmland south of Worthington Ave. and tracked from northeast to southwest, hitting the east side of a large barn and destroying the roofing structure of the eastern side. The tornado scattered the metal roof shingles and wood pieces up to 200 ft away to both the northeast and southwest. Based on damage, the NWS tornado survey rated it as an EF0 with an estimation of 74 mph. Images and video confirmed that this tornado was a landspout.
January 2019FloodRed Bluff$15,000Heavy rains led to intense flooding in Red Bluff leading to 30 homes being evacuated on Aloha Street. Several homes did flood and evacuation orders were lifted at 1100 am.
April 2021Tornado (EF0)Kirkwood$10,000There was an EF-0 tornado that touched down in Tehama County on Sunday evening around 5:45 pm in the town of Capay, just north of Orland and the Glenn County border. This was video-recorded by a resident in a nearby field between Watkins Rd. and Capay Rd. No damage was observed in this 15 second touchdown.||The tornado touched down again about 2 miles to the east, on Post Ave between 4th and 5th Avenues. Minor damage was reported at 2 homes, including a damaged carport, roof tiles, sheds, and trees. There were also around 40 orchard trees damaged or uprooted.

The awning was 14 feet wide and 55 feet long and was completely destroyed. It broke the bolts securing it to the concrete slab and lifted the structure up and over the home, damaging power lines and a portion of the roof where it was attached to the house.

November 2012Flash FloodTehama$5,000Several hours of heavy rainfall from training storms caused local flooding in low-lying areas in Shasta County and parts of north Tehama County. Redding airport received approximately 1.75 inches of rain from 10am Nov. 20 to 10am Nov. 21st, but approximately 1.25 inches of that occurred from 2am-10am Nov 21st. Shasta Dam received approximately 3.50 to 4 inches of rain in that 24 hour period. The Corning area received approximately 0.37 inches. KRCR reported flash flooding at Hall Road along Thomes Creek where the creek rose significantly and flooded the low-lying area. At approximately 815am, a man from a vehicle had to be rescued by a CalFire helicopter as the car became mostly submerged in rushing water after driving across Hall Rd that was water-covered from the swollen creek water. The rushing water swept his vehicle. Other areas nearby were reported to have ponding of water on the roads.

There were no damage or injury reports. The determination is that this was an EF-U (unknown) tornado that touched down for approximately 3 minutes with a path length of approximately 0.8 miles and unknown peak wind.
