Extant example of worker housing constructed as part of a mill village complex in Douglasville, Georgia. Description: One storey, clapboard sided, pyramidal-roofed cottage on brick pier foundation, constructed circa One central chimney projects from roof peak, front and rear porches exhibit hipped roofs, and windows are of 6/6 double-hung sash configuration. Two front and two rear doors each open into a separate room as house plan is two rooms wide by two rooms deep. A bathroom has been added to a portion of the rear porch. The interior exluoits no decorative features and walls have been sheetroc.ked.
