Population over time
2 figuresBingham fell from 83 to 60 between 2010 and 2020. These are the recorded population figures Wikidata holds for this place, reached through the Geographic Names Information System number this page is keyed on rather than by name, so they belong to this place and not to another of the same name. Most are census counts, but not all are: an early figure may be a founding or settlement estimate, and an estimate published within five years of a census is left out. The change column is computed, and is left blank where more than 20 years separate a figure from the one before it, because a gap that long is not a change between two counts.
| Year | People | Change |

The tornado was rated EF1 in Fayette County with a path length of 14.8 miles and a max path width of 690 yards. No injuries or deaths were reported in Fayette County. |

| June 2010 | Flash Flood | Bingham | - | Up to six inches of rain fell in a short amount of time on already saturated soils causing flash flooding. Numerous roads were flooded including U.S. Highway 51 both north and south of Vandalia. Up to 100 homes and businesses sustained damage from the flooding in Vandalia. Though most of the homes that sustained damage was due to water and sewer backup. Some businesses did have substantial flooding and the city garage had 18 inches of water inside and two squad cars parked outside the garage were damaged when they were submerged in the flood waters. Also, several water rescues had to be done as people drove around barricades and attempted to drive through the flooded streets. Some of the flooding in town was due to a 10 foot culvert under a railroad bed that was bent due to the large flow of water through it actually forcing the culvert up into the air, this stopped up the flow of water and backed the water up into properties on that side of town. No injuries were reported. |
