Slow moving, single cell thunderstorms produced nearly 3.50 inches of rain in two hours across western Tazewell County. Many area roads were closed and vehicles stranded due to flowing water of 6 to 12 inches deep. The hardest hit area was along Springfield Road from the intersection of Muller Road to near Delavan. Most streets in the village of Tremont were also flooded.
Numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down. Several of the fallen trees caused minor damage to the roofs on a couple of houses and several cars sustained damage from the trees. No injuries were reported.
