The driver sustained severe injuries and required at least 30 stitches. The driver had barbed wire and clothing wrapped around his legs and body. He crawled to a nearby road where he was able to stand and walk. He was found by a passing motorist and taken to a local hospital where he remained for several days. The tornado also damaged nearby buildings, silos, and farm equipment. The tornado was reportedly moving northwest. |
