Mrs. Sarah Heller Passed Away Friday Bowling Green - Mrs. Sarah Whitacre-Heller passed away Fri Friday - day Friday afternoon at five thirty at her late residence at 137 Georgia Ave., Bowling Green, after several months illness. Services were held at the Church of Christ in Bowling Green at 3 o'clock on Monday with Rev. Barton Murray officia officiating. - ting. officiating. Interment was made in Oak Grove Cemetery. The daughter of John and Em Emma - ma Emma Snyder she was born, April 22, 1874 and was past 75 years of age at the time of her death. Sarah Snyder was united in marriage with Herman Whitacre on Dec. 14, 1890 and they lived in Jerry City and Cygnet area until 1910 when they moved to Bowling Green. To this union three chil children - dren children were bom: Mrs. Cleo Ster Sterling, - ling, Sterling, Grand Rapids; Mrs. Russeu Smith and Perry Whitacre of Bowling Green. She and Mr. Whitacre helped to organize and build the Church of Christ at Cygnet and upon moving to Bowling Green she continued her faithful service in the Church of Christ, until the last few months when illness prevented. She was a member of the Royal Neighbor Lodge. On Nov. 15, 1942, Mrs. Whit Whitacre - acre Whitacre was married to Fred Keller of Stony Ridge who passed away on August 22, 1943. Besides the three children, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren survive. Three grandchildren preceded her, two in infancy, and Glen M. Whitacre. It is seldom that a small rural church can have such noted tal talent - ent talent to which the community res responded - ponded responded beyond all expectations. The Quintet agreed that in the rural church they met a response which so often they do not find in the larger churches, and ex expressed - pressed expressed themselves as being hap happy - py happy for the privilege to visit the Pleasant View church. That Pleasant View church still fills a need in the commun community - ity community in which it has stood so many years, it still is a privilege and a blessing to be able to attend its regular worship services.
