The furnishings are from the old Shaker communities of Whitewater and Union artifacts, many from the Shaker community near Lebanon called Union Village. The Golden Lamb is recognized by the Shaker Museum Foundation, Inc. as one of the finest private collections of Shaker furniture and artifacts in the midwest. The Golden Lamb was recorded by the Historic American Buildings Survey in 1936.
