Statement of significance

(in one paragraph) Gothic Revival movement, which was popular in the United States from the 1830s its steeply-pitched intersecting gable roof, gabled dormers, tall windows, and structures, primarily vernacular in character, with a smattering of Federal and the county, for that matter--so embodies the characteristics of the Gothic Revival with a national military figure, General Phillip H.
