Much of the brownstone trim seems to have been taken as salvage from the original rear elevation and re-set in its present location. In 1984 the Felton Street School underwent a certified historic rehabilitation in accoradance with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation; it presently contains twelve residential apartments.
