1883, Farmer Township

Probably Tuberculosis

G. C. M. of Leipsic, O., is having a pretty serious time with his chickens, and he asks for advice in the case. The chickens are having what seems to be an epidemic, and are dying pretty fast, I judge. Many of them get lame. Some are not thus affected and die within a few days, while those that are lame linger from ten days to two weeks.
