June 2017	Flash Flood	Hope	$10,000	Three to five inches of rain fell across much of Vinton County. This resulted in widespread flooding of creeks and streams throughout the county. Some of the first flooding occurred near Allensville, where the feeder streams into the Middle Fork River flooded shortly after 5 PM EST. Many roads were flooded throughout during the evening and overnight. This included portions of State Routes 56, 95, 278, 328, 671. US Route 50 near Ratcliffburg was also closed.
June 2021	Thunderstorm Wind	Hope	$5,000	Several trees were blown down on State Route 238 north of Zaleski.

June 2022	Tornado (EF1)	Hope	$1,500	A swath of trees with signs of convergence/rotation occurred on the northwest side of the ridge between Lake Hope and the Lake Hope State Park Lodge and Cabins. Multiple large healthy trees, including Oak and Hickory, were snapped and uprooted. A tree on the outer edge of the damage path fell onto a cabin causing minor damage.
June 2017	Flood	Hope	$1,000	Following flash flooding earlier in the day, ponding water restricted travel lanes into the afternoon along State Route 278 in the Zaleski area.
June 2022	Tornado (EF0)	Hope	$250	A group of trees were uprooted with some smaller trees snapped near a campsite and backpacking trail in the Zaleski State Forest. The trees showed signs of convergence. Due to dense forest and limitation of ground survey, it is unknown how far the damage path actually went into the forest. However, additional tree damage found in a logged area farther east on King Hollow Road was likely the eastward extent of the path.
February 2018	Flood	Hope	-	Raccoon Creek at Bolins Mills had a prolonged period out of its banks. The creek rose above its bankfull level of 14 feet just after midnight on the 23rd with flooding lingering into the morning of the 26th. However, crest was only half a foot above bankfull, occurring on the afternoon of the 24th.
