An estimated 2.5 fell in during the evening hours of the 9th, falling over saturated ground. The three day rainfall leading up to this event was close to 8, so conditions were ripe for maximum runoff. A resident along Rock Road awoke in the early morning hours to water filling her home. They were trapped in the home with 6 feet of water in the first floor before the water receded almost as quickly as it rose. The residents lost their belongings and sustained significant damage to their home, but there were fortunately no injuries. |
