State Route 53 was flooded by up to 6 feet of water approximately four miles west of Upper Sandusky near the intersection of Township Road 103. A 46 male apparently drove his truck into the flood waters around 2 am on July 14th. The man was later found deceased about 200 feet north of the highway. His truck was found completely submerged in the flood waters.

When this property was proposed for the National Register, someone wrote the case for it: what the building is, and why it matters. That document is a federal record in the public domain. Description of the property

The Wyandot Mission Church is built of cut limestone on a stone foundation. It now boarded over with plaques bearing the names of those buried in the cemetery The entraces are original. carved hardwood. Originally a one square mile tract contained the mission school, farm and the CONDITION DESCRIPTION DETERIORATED FAIR GOOD UNALTERED CHECK ONE identical doorways which are placed toward the outer sides of the building.These altar is not original but was added during the restoration and is constructed of consists of a single story and is gable roofed. The north facade has two recessed, member of the complex.The property now consists of three acres. doorways has stone lintels and steps and the recesses have paneled wood trim. after that time.It was restored by the Methodist Church in 1889.

Stewart, born in 1786 of free Black parents in Powhatan County, Virginia, in 1816 he worked among the Wyandot Indians in Upper Sandusky, Ohio and in 1819 a result of Stewart's work, the first official Methodist mission to the wife and for the next three years, Stewart and Finley operated a school for 1400-1499 1824 1700-1799 Indian mission.
