Description of the property
ona cut sandstone base,with tapered shouldersnarrowing toa chimney stack made of exterior chimney is located on the east side of the house.The chimney is constructed siding was removed by the Erb's when.they rehabilitated the house in the late l970's. Xaltered .unaltered originally served as the farmhouse for a small, subsistence farm, and though a number cut sandstone as the exterior chimney base, and has a wide surround along the hearth The floor joists early twentieth century and a shed/garage constructed during the 1970's. However, they X good second floor appears to have originally been a single, unpartitioned room, however, it date deteriorated opening.

Statement of significance
(in one paragraph) form that was once common to the southern Ohio Appalachian region, but which is quickly immigrant, was recorded on the Gallia County Tax Duplicate as owning 81 acres in the mid-nineteenth century due to the form of the building, which is similar in proportion to primarily due to a large lumber milling and coal mining labor forces' need for housing.6 cabins were traditionally made of mud and stone, but in America that method proved to be external chimney in the center of one gable end. It may consist of only one room, but square cabins.
