November 1994Tornado (F2)Blue$10,000A trailer home was destoyed 1 mile north of the town of Blue. The tornado lifted the mobile home and dropped it 25 feet away. A 13-year old boy was eating supper in the mobile home alone as the tornado struck. He described a sound "like a freight train", with the trailer beginning to rock back and forth. He remembered hitting the floor and ceiling as the mobile home was rolled over and destroyed. He was found uninjured amid the debris. At 1845CST the Sheriff's Department reported trees downed just southeast of Blue.
April 2024Thunderstorm WindBlue-A thunderstorm produced wind gusts estimated at 70 mph that knocked down several trees west of Blue.
March 2022Tornado (EF0)Blue-Additional data from spotter reports, the Texas Department of Emergency Management, the Texas Department of Public Safety and radar data from the Texas A&M Aggie Doppler Radar (ADRAD) confirmed a second tornado in northern Bastrop County. The tornado touched down in far northeast Bastrop County just east of the intersection of North County Line Road and Old Lexington Road around 5:54 PM CST. The tornado then moved into the far western portion of Lee County approximately mile northwest of Trailside Dr. The tornado dissipated around 6:04 PM CST just before reaching the Middle Yegua Creek. At the initial point of touchdown a house lost some roof shingles, gutters, and siding consistent will EF-0 damage. We received a picture of this tornado on the ground in Lee County from a storm spotter. Maximum winds were estimated at 75 mph.
