The Highway 15 storage units were totaled by the extremely high winds and a roundtop at the Roy Hughe place was lifted by the damaging winds and moved about twenty feet. Two large overhead doors were blown down at Tom McGee's building on the west end of Highway 15.
May 2007Flash FloodHuntoon-U.S. Highway 83 closed from Perryton to Canadian due to five to six feet of water over South Wolf Creek Bridge. North Wolf Creek Bridge was almost flooded. Law enforcement were unable to reach Lake Fryer due to flooding into the park. Water was well over the spillway at an unknown depth. No damage or injuries were reported.
