Population over time

3 figures

Scottsville grew from 263 to 334 between 2000 and 2020. These are the recorded population figures Wikidata holds for this place, reached through the Geographic Names Information System number this page is keyed on rather than by name, so they belong to this place and not to another of the same name. Most are census counts, but not all are: an early figure may be a founding or settlement estimate, and an estimate published within five years of a census is left out. The change column is computed, and is left blank where more than 20 years separate a figure from the one before it, because a gap that long is not a change between two counts.

Much of the tornado's destructive damage occurred along Trammel Lane (Haggerty Road) where trees were snapped/downed on several homes. The highest concentration of tree damage was in the neighboring Scottsville and Rock Springs Cemeteries near the start of the path. It is possible the tornado was on the|ground a bit longer than one mile, but the lack of ground access hindered the ability of the survey team to confirm this. Fortunately, there were no injuries in association with this brief tornado and the maximum width was only 100 yards.
