Spangle Creek flowed out of its banks resulting in water surrounding homes with basement flooding along a three block stretch. A vehicle became stuck on a flooded road and had to be saved by rescue personnel. There were reports of flooding in fields in Cheney and in Elk. A small creek near Shady Slope and Little Spokane Drive came out of its banks resulting in minor flooding. Damage costs for the event were estimated. |
| May 2014 | Thunderstorm Wind | Espanola | $6,000 | A gust front with winds estimated between 30 and 45 mph tore off a secondary metal rood from a one story apartment building located near the intersection of W Manilla and E Espanola Rd.
