The Withrow House is historically significant as a c. bungalow house type located within the town of Odum. It contributes to an understanding of the residential development of this early twentieth century railroad town. Description: This one story frame residence displays a front gable roof, engaged partial facade front porch, a rear porch, weatherboard siding, exposed rafters and vertical three over one windows. The setting currently is overgrown, therefore the attached photographs are limited in scope. The interior exhibits a linear floor plan without hallways (a floor plan is attached) . Interior materials include paneling and carpeting. History: The Withrow House was constructed c. Cecil Withrow, the current owner, purchased the 128 by 219 foot tract from Dr. I.K.
