Price, Leslie L Pontius; Floyd Bartley, P. Bartholomew and others. Each is a physical object with a catalogue number, and each entry opens the museum's record. This is what was collected and kept, not a survey of what lives here - nothing can be concluded from a species being absent.

April 2023Tornado (EF0)Plankton$70,000A brief EF0 tornado with estimated peak winds of 85 mph impacted Crawford County. The tornado began five-miles ENE of Sycamore, ended four-miles west of Chatfield, and caused damage along and near the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad. As the tornado moved eastward, the roof of a barn was damaged near County Road 100 and then a large dairy barn was damaged and displaced. Farther east, the tornado ripped a silo's bolts from a concrete pad and the silo was displaced onto railroad tracks, where a westward-moving train collided with the silo. Even farther east, a two-car garage was damaged and several two-by-fours were impaled into the ground and roof of a nearby house.
